Papas Grocery was founded by Spyros Aravanis in 1965 at the age of 26, under the name “Aravani Coffee Mill” after the inspiration given to him by the coffee trees he observed during his travels as a young sailor in South America. At that time there were at least ten other coffee mills in Lefkada that roasted and ground Greek coffee. It is no coincidence that over the years there remained the only coffee mill on the island that roasts and grinds Greek coffee. We have one goal over the years. To produce the best blends with the highest quality coffees, so that the customer enjoys the best result. This devotion and dedication to this purpose was transferred to the Sons, Aravani Vassilis and Aravani Dimitris (second generation) trying to give the consumer the real enjoyment of coffee.
