Description
The speech therapist Gavrili Stavroula, in Lefkada, is a professor of speech therapy at the Higher Technological Institute of Ioannina and holds a PECS diploma for people with diffuse developmental disorder, while, at the same time, she is a member of the Panhellenic Association.
Assessments and rehabilitation treatment programs are provided for: joint – speech – voice disorders, learning difficulties and dyslexia, strokes and neurogenic disorders. Also for syndromes, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, developmental disorders, stuttering and hearing loss.
In addition, scientific collaboration is provided with a pediatric neurologist, child psychiatrist, child psychologist, psychologist and social worker, for parent counseling.
At the same time, scientific collaboration is provided with a physiatrist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist, for complete therapeutic rehabilitation.
In the specially designed space there is a reading room, which is supervised by a special educator, for the study of all the courses of the Elementary and the High School.
