WEST FERRY is a traditional shipping company founded in October 1992 by brothers Dimitris and Angelos Katopodis. Coming from a naval family with a tradition of years at sea, they enter the ferry sector in 1983 connecting Meganisi with Nydri Lefkada for the first time with the ferry “LEFKAS”.
Two years later the same ship will connect Nydri with Fiskardo (Kefalonia) and Frikes (Ithaca). Today WEST FERRY with the ship “CAPTAIN ARISTIDIS” continues to serve the line Lefkada – Kefalonia – Ithaca with consistency and responsibility with daily scheduled trips between Vasiliki, Fiskardo and Frikon and to offer quality services for a comfortable and safe trip. The company and the ship comply with all applicable international and national regulations (SOLAS & amp; EUROSOLAS) and are certified for the implementation of the International Maritime Safety Management Code (ISM CODE) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
